My Background
I hold two Master’s degrees (with honors):
- in Psychopathology from Paris Cité University with a specialization in groups, family, institutions and transcultural therapies.
- in Social Sciences and Philosophy of Knowledge from Paris Sorbonne University.
Having worked in psychiatric hospitals, I had the opportunity to provide therapy to a wide range of patients, from children and teenagers to adults, offering individual and family therapies (Saint-Anne Paris major psychiatric hospital, Barthélémy Durand Hospital, Paris Police Hospital).
In association with psychiatric consultations, I have participated in international adult and adolescent outpatient consultations with a psychodynamic orientation. My time in the community sector involved being a therapist within outpatient transcultural group consultations for families with children and individual migrants facing trauma, abuse or other significant relationship difficulties (Fondation Elan Retrouvé).
Before becoming a licensed psychologist, I worked in the private sector accompanying high-profile individuals, engineers, researchers and graduates in their professional careers through coaching and recruitment. In parallel, I spent several years working in the community not-for-profit sector, providing coaching to adolescents and elders private sector, accompanying high-profile individuals, engineers, researchers, and graduates in their professional careers through coaching and recruitment. For more than twenty years, I have also achieved significant personal development (transactional analysis training, psychodynamic & psychoanalytic psychotherapies, hypnotherapy, sophrology, mindfulness meditation).
I have a strong appetite for research and have been part of a study on “the neurological effects of meditation on adolescent subjects” in 2020 as a research intern. Later, in 2022/2023, I conducted research on 'the migrating therapists' and on isolated confined environments, such as 'solo sailing across the Atlantic' and NASA astronauts. In 2024, I presented a topic on Falling in love via an App at the Saint-Anne Psychiatric Hospital Center annual colloquium for interns.
I have been under professional supervision since 2023 with a certified clinical psychologist (Paris). Since 2023, I have also been a member of professional groups with psychiatrists, psychoanalysts, and psychologists, where we review case studies and attend theoretical lectures. Additionally, I am undergoing training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (3 years), Schema Therapy, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) (1 year), and I am currently enrolled in a certified training program on Psychoanalysis with UFORCA Aix-Marseille.
Being fluent in both English and French, I have broad cultural awareness, with extensive international travels and experiences living abroad (UK, Sweden, and Australia). These journeys have connected me with very diverse profiles.
